13 October 2023 – our first production oliver: lagos to london has been named one of the 25 best radio dramas to download now by the i newspaper. “the novels of charles dickens have been subject to countless reinventions, and this oliver twist-inspired story is one of the most imaginative … a powerfully political new take on a much-loved classic”.

17 november 2022 – we’re thrilled to be working with music creator eva lazarus who’s writing some original songs for ‘bess 💓 porgy’. we can’t wait for everyone to hear them.
17 november 2022 – mercury nominated music producer swindle will be writing and producing the original score and music for ‘bess 💓 porgy’, working with his long term collaborator and arranger neil waters, together with eva lazarus and TEE. we’ll be recording the music for the show with cast and the bbc concert orchestra at abbey road studios in january.
17 june 2022 – we’re delighted to announce that emerging singer- songwriter TEE is joining the ‘bess 💓 porgy’ team to create some new music for the show. their work will be supported by the PRS foundation’s the open fund for organisations. more news soon …
23 sep 2021 – we’re excited to announce our latest commission ‘bess 💓 porgy’ by acclaimed writer roy williams obe (the national theatre’s ‘death of england’.) the musical drama will be made for bbc radio 3 and 4 with the bbc concert orchestra and will be directed by michael buffong. it is set in south east london with an original score of contemporary black british music. live performances are also planned.
8 sep 2021 – our creative partner and feral co-founder fatima adoum is filming new m6 france series ‘la maison d’en face’ in paris. it’s been a busy few months for fatima, who also plays the lead in tf1’s christmas movie ‘noel à tous les étages’ directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner.

26 march 2021 – jordan nash stole the show at the bbc audio drama awards, where he won best debut performance for his role as young oli in our first production, ‘oliver : lagos to london’ for bbc radio 4. the series was also nominated for best adaptation.
4 nov 2020 – silas has been awarded the inaugural phil fox award for playwriting from outside edge theatre company and a commission for his play ‘lessons for diving’. judges included barbara broccoli obe, simon stephens and enda walsh who said ‘remarkably it’s his first play and the daring of its execution, his sensitivity and handling of these complex characters – marked silas’ play out … we are all so excited to have found such an original voice.’  http://edgetc.org/phil-fox-award-2
1 oct 2020 – development feature project ‘this is home’ – a sweet hard gay love story written by silas won the hfm market potential award at the netherlands film festival. sponsored by alphapanda and cinemarket. the judges said: ‘We see this film as having a real connection with generation z, and this impactful, very current project will bring a breath of fresh air into the festival circuit.’
